When we started raising our own family here in Colorado, we quickly realized that youth sports had changed. The competition is higher, the commitment is greater, and the costs… well, they can be overwhelming.
My husband, a firefighter, and I, a school counselor, have always been driven by one thing—supporting people and building community. When our two boys began playing competitive hockey, we were all in. But like many families, we were shocked by the financial demands that came with chasing big dreams.
We knew we needed a better way to support our kids—and families like ours.
